The film Jodhaa Akbar' starring Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan, has been nominated in the Best Foreign film category of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards in London.
The final nominations list for the BAFTA awards will be announced on January 15 with the ceremony itself being staged at the Royal Opera house in London on February 8.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan choose to do the Hollywood film, Pink Panther 2, because of her admiration for Peter Sellers, the British comedian who played Inspector Clouseau in four Pink Panther movies. Aishwarya Rai says "I loved Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther series when I was a kid and watched these films. It was hilarious, a laugh riot and a thorough family entertainer. People across different age groups love The Pink Panther because the films always bring a smile to one's face."
Beautiful Aishwarya Rai will continue for the film Sci-Fi drama 'Endhiran' in which super star of south indian film industry Rajnikanth is acting will start the shooting from December 18.
